Autumn meeting in the Northern
part of France , near Calais ! Saturday 3rd of september ; meeting point at the lighthouse of
Calais (nearby the Ferryboat station). Arrival time at 10.00am , visit of the
lighthouse is possible . Departure at 11.30am to Boulogne-sur-Mer , short stop at the entrance of the Channel-tunnel
where we can have a quick lunch. At 02.00pm visit of the Napoleon Column of
the great army , at 03.00pm arrival in Boulogne with a visit (walking) of the
old city (castle , museum , basilica ,…). Following a visit to the fish
harbor and a walk on the beach and a visit to a restaurant where we all can
have together a dinner . Sunday 4th of September ; From 09.30am , meeting point at
the Nausicaa parking , visit of the Nausicaa , one of the biggest salt-water fish aquariums
in Europe . Around noon , riding back to Calais
with a visit of the two capes , “Cape Blanch Nez” and “Cape Gris Nez” .
